Porticus Program

Currently through the porticus programme we aim to support and prepare local communities, residents and current staff members and management of the BMSSP in the quest to facilitate the smooth transition for all concerned to the new shared space building.

 

A key focus will be on the delivery of relevant training that will empower the individual and further help the organisation succeed and grow.

Great to have Porticus support the setting up, training  & development of the new Highspring Residents Group this will be a vital tool for the wider Highfield / Springmartin area and beyond, the Porticus programme will aim to support and deliver for the residents of the area in terms of capacity building, skills training, governance and best practice and collaberative working

Peace Barriers Program

The critical mens engagement group that has been running for the past year, we meet most tuesday nights at 7pm in various locations from bmag to the innovation centre.

Recently we have delivered the beacon/funday event on 10th july in the springmartin area.

 

We have a number of other programmes starting in the near future, epilogues, oral history projects etc.

Belfast City Council Employment Academies 

Care Academy -Employment academies are open to anyone currently out of work or working less than 16 hours per week, applicants must be a resident of Belfast.
