Cross community geneology and area history group venture out !

Week 7 of our cross community geneology and local area history programme seen the group leave the comfort of their IT hub at Highfield community centre to avail of a historical tour of Shankill graveyard. Unfortunately some works had started in the graveyard and and the weather took a turn for the worse but that didnt stop Bobby Foster from giving a very insightful session to the group. Bobby then accompanied the group back to base were he gave a great overview of the hidtory of the Highfield and Springmartin areas. It was agreed that the group would do the full tour again in the near future, hopefully in the better weather.
